En el año 1987 empecé a escribir guiones y poesía. Luego, mi encuentro y colaboración con algunos cineastas, fotógrafos, y artistas cubanos y extranjeros en la Habana, me dieron la oportunidad de trabajar directamente en el campo de la dramaturgia y la producción de videos, y en la organización de eventos. De esta experiencia nacieron proyectos como mi documental CUBA PERFORMANCES (un canto poético a la libertad, 2006), o FICCU, el Festival Internacional de Cine Cubano, que realizamos en dos ocasiones en Munich para hablar sin tabús, sobre el tema Cuba.

I started writing scripts and poetry in 1987. Later on, my encounters and collaboration with some filmmakers, photographers and artists (Cuban and foreigners) in Havana gave me the opportunity of working straight in the fields of dramaturgy and video production, and also event management. Thanks to these experiences I could realize my documentary film CUBA PERFORMANCES (a poetical song to freedom, 2006) or FICCU, the international Cuban film festival, which we organized twice in Munich with the aim of speaking without tabus about Cuba.

1987 begann ich Drehbücher und Poesie zu schreiben. Dann gab mir die Begegnung und die Zusammenarbeit mit einigen kubanischen und ausländischen Filmschaffenden, Fotografen und Künstlern in Havanna die Möglichkeit, direkt auf dem Gebiet der Dramaturgie und der Videoproduktion sowie der Veranstaltungsorganisation zu arbeiten. Aus dieser Erfahrung heraus entstanden Projekte wie mein Dokumentarfilm CUBA PERFORMANCES (ein poetischer Gesang an die Freiheit, 2006) oder FICCU, das internationale Festival des kubanischen Kinos, das wir zweimal in München veranstalteten, um ohne Tabus über Kuba zu sprechen.
